- CNet Lexicon Interpretor, v1.5 HISTORY! File by Dotoran!
- ============================================================================
-
- -- v1.5 --
- - File now reads the Editor Temp Path directly from CNet, so having to
- specify the path is no longer needed.
- - The launch command now takes an argument(0 or 1), which determines if
- LEX should run automatically or ask the user first. This does away with
- another of the variables from v1.0, as it is now possibly to have LEX
- auto for some places, but polite in others.
- - Uses of the MCI {$ } command were replaced with ADDRESS COMMAND, so as
- to make it compatible on newer Amiga Systems, which seem to frown on
- the {$ } command.
- - New features this version include:
- - A "LEX" command, which takes a path/filename as an argument. The
- SysOp can now LEX-Check any text file they wish.
- - Your remote users can use an argument of UPLOAD to initiate an
- XMODEM upload of any text files they wish to have LEX-Checked!
- - All users can also specify a ? as the argument for a brief account
- of possible formats for use with this command.
- - Coding was cleaned up and tightened up, so as to be shorter and
- faster than previous versions.
- - Release Date: December 11, 1994
-
- -- v1.1 --
- - Never officially released.
- - This was the version that made the Editor Path internal, without the
- need for a SysOp defined variable.
-
- -- v1.0 --
- - Release Date: September 1, 1993
- - Allowed CNet Amiga to use the "LEX" dos file to interpret the read-
- ability levels of user written messages.
- - Included means to change colors, whether or not the user was asked if
- they wished to use LEX or not, Access Groups to SKIP using LEX as well
- as well as specifying the temp directory to use.
